For the 12th consecutive year, the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwest Real Estate team Bagley & Associates has held their annual Movie Day, a client appreciation event, at Oak Grove Cinemas in Milwaukie. What started as a way of saying ‘thank you’ to their clients with free movies and snacks has become an annual opportunity for their clients to help youth in need; and they love it.
Not only does the team invite their guests to bring the whole family, they also ask them to bring a donation for local homeless and at-risk youth. Longtime supporters of Transitional Youth, the Portland-based non-profit organization founded by company Chairman Bert Waugh Jr., these real estate pros from the Clackamas office use the event as a means of collecting warm clothing and supplies every year.
As a result of nearly 300 of their clients’ generosity, two vehicles packed full of blankets, sleeping bags, backpacks, jackets, hoodies, socks, clothes and miscellaneous donations delivered the goods downtown to Transitional Youth. Not only that, they raised $854 in cash donations for the organization.
Kathy, Amy and Tanya, we are proud you represent our company and we appreciate your big hearts and those of your clients. Thank you for bringing your community together to help others!
