Oregon & Washington Rank in the Top 10 States for Quality of Life
When it comes to quality of life, the Pacific Northwest is tough to beat. CNBC recently ranked all 50 states on a variety of factors to identify the top states for business, and their findings rank Oregon #8 and Washington #10 in Quality of Life, with Hawaii taking the top spot.
The comments about Oregon include, “Choose from the hippy hip Portland or the other-worldly beauty of Crater Lake National Park. Air quality is among the best in the country. Oregonians are healthier than most Americans, with lower instances of obesity and diabetes.” Overall, Oregon ranks #17 in the country.
And for Washington, “From Seattle to Spokane, the Evergreen State offers a near-pristine environment, a wealth of local attractions, and relatively low crime.” Overall, Washington ranks #20 in the country. Read the CNBC article here.
