Good news! President Obama signed into law a three-month extension on the deadline for home buyers to obtain a federal home buyer tax credit of up to $8,000.
Eligible taxpayers who contracted to buy a home, qualifying for the first-time home buyer tax credit before the end of April 2010, now have until September 30, 2010 to close the deal. To be eligible, buyers need to be in a binding contract that was in place by April 30.
This is a great way to support homeless youth … and see some amazing golf pros in action!
Kudos to Columbia Tech Center’s Dale Chumbley for his part in organizing BuzzRE, a fantastic social media marketing conference yesterday at Edgefield! It was great to see so many Prudential agents learning about all the tools they can implement to provide even greater service and information to their clients. Thanks, Dale – great job!
The first annual “Transitional Youth Underwear Challenge” between the Columbia Tech Center and Clark County NW branches was big fun and resulted in a huge donation for the kids at the Outreach Center. The two offices squared off to see who could collect as much new underwear as possible for homeless youth. The Clark County NW crew was victorious, collecting 625 pieces of underwear, and CTC brought in 486, for a total of 1,111 pairs! Great job!
Transitional Youth and the homeless youth they serve are most appreciative!
