FRI-SUN Get down to Cook Park early each morning to experience the spectacular hot air balloons as they launch (weather permitting) and dot the morning sky. Spend the afternoon shopping at the craft and business vendor booths.
OREGON BACH FESTIVAL
Through July 10th The internationally-renowned Oregon Bach Festival (OBF) announces its 47th season of world-class concerts and musicians. 2016 promises a summer of familiar favorites, new works, and a reinvigorated love for the Festival’s eponymous composer, Johann Sebastian Bach.
FRI-SUN 3-day beer festival specializing in rare, hard-to-find, exotic beers. Over 200 world-class beers from 16 countries will be on hand, hailing from all over the planet, many from right here in the Pacific NW. Stroll around the beautiful park with a cold one as you listen to music play all weekend.
WORLD NAKED BIKE RIDE
SAT Annual, worldwide bike ride that highlights the vulnerability of cyclists everywhere and decries society’s dependence on pollution-based transport. It’s also a lot of fun and it’s free for all!
JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL
Through June 29th 24th annual Portland Jewish Film Festival, produced by the Northwest Film Center and co-presented with the Institute for Judaic Studies. While the Festival specifically celebrates the diversity of Jewish history, culture, and identity, we hope that these films, and the stories they tell, resonate beyond their settings and speak to universal experiences and issues that confront our common humanity.

SUN Children and adults race and show off their handmade, human powered boats that float only by means of recycled milk cartons and jugs. Creatively constructed watercraft will compete in seven categories, with one earning a place in history upon the coveted Best in Show milk can trophy.

ALL MONTH This spine-tingling ghost tour explores Portland’s historic Old Town District, a vibrant area with beautiful 1800’s buildings, cobblestone streets and a wicked past.
ALL MONTH Various Portland Locations: Triviology pub quizzes are free to play, last a couple of hours, and are composed of seven short rounds, giving teams instant gratification for their efforts. Team size can range from one to five players, with prizes for everyone on the winning team.
