BELOVED MUSIC FESTIVAL

FRI-MONBeloved Festival is an outdoor sacred art and music festival with dozens of acts, yoga and qigong workshops, organic food vendors and camping in Tidewater, OR.

ODYSSEO
Through August 20th – Larger than life horse show marrying the equestrian arts, stage arts and high tech theatrical effects at never-before-seen levels.

BITE OF OREGON
FRI-SUN – From coast to Cascades to canyons, the Bite of Oregon is a stunning celebration of Oregon, its food, its people and its extraordinary quality of life. Come join the fun at the best summer party on the Portland waterfront!

ELEPHANT GARLIC FESTIVAL
FRI-SUN – This festival includes a parade, 10k/5k run, live music, kids fun zone, car show, and great-tasting garlic food & beer.

WILLAMETTE COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL
FRI-SUN – The Northwest’s premier outdoor country music festival. Enjoy three days of music from amazing country performers!

WARPED TOUR
August 13th – Hear 90 bands play alternative rock, pop-punk, hip-hop, electronica, and hardcore.

NW FOSSIL FESTIVAL
August 13thOutdoor festival with exhibits and lectures on fossils.

BRIDGE PETAL
August 14thCelebrate cycling in Portland and the Willamette River bridges. Join your family and friends in biking over Portland’s bridges, including the car-free upper decks of the Fremont and Marquam bridges.

FLICKS ON THE BRICKS
Through August 19th – Pioneer Courthouse Square transforms into Portland’s largest outdoor movie theater for the entire community to enjoy!

ART IN THE DARK
Through SUN August 14th – Fantastical, illuminated, full-length, evening production set in a unique and rare outdoor theater style setting. Transforming a dirt plot into a performance spot, each show is packed with the flavor of the Northwest and a wonderful taste of the talent this area has to offer!

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG
Through SUN August 14 – Based on the beloved 1968 film version of Ian Fleming’s children’s book, and featuring an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is one family friendly blockbuster that audiences will find “Truly Scrumptious”.

BETTE & JOAN
Through August 28 – A film festival starring two famous stars that carried on a bitter feud throughout their careers, which became fodder for unending gossip and legendary Hollywood lore.

TOP DOWN: ROOFTOP CINEMA
Through August 25 – Join us atop the Hotel deLuxe’s parking structure at SW 15th and Yamhill for our 12th annual program of cinema under the stars.

CONCERTS IN THE PARK
Through August 28 – Pack a picnic dinner or dine with our vendors, bring a blanket or chairs, and spend time with family and friends at a live outdoor concert performance.

MOVIES IN THE PARK
Through September 10 – Pre-movie entertainment begins at 6:30 PM, including live performances by local musicians and free popcorn. Bring jackets or extra blankets, as it gets chilly when the sun goes down!

OREGON ZOO SUMMER CONCERTS
Through September 11  Oregon’s “wildest” outdoor concert series celebrates 37 years of bringing you world-class artists for a night of music and nature. It wouldn’t be summer in Oregon without an evening of great music at the zoo!

PORTLAND SATURDAY MARKET
SAT-SUN through December – The nation’s largest weekly open-air arts and crafts market. Stroll down row upon row of unique creations made by the people who sell them in Old Town.

URBAN SCAVENGER HUNT
ALL MONTH  Smartphone clues lead you on a fun & engaging walking tour of the city. Clues start you in the heart of downtown at Pioneer Courthouse Square and will take you on a scavenger hunt through the Arts District, on a streetcar ride and among the famous food carts.

SHANROCK’S TRIVIOLOGY
ALL MONTH – Various Portland Locations: Triviology pub quizzes are free to play, last a couple of hours, and are composed of seven short rounds, giving teams instant gratification for their efforts. Team size can range from one to five players, with prizes for everyone on the winning team.

VANCOUVER METRO EVENTS

VANCOUVER BREWFEST
FRI-SUNSpend the weekend sampling beers, cider, mead, and wine while listening to live music, shopping and playing beer pong. All while raising money for two local charities—Northwest Battle Buddies and Second Chance Companions.

CLARK COUNTY FAIR
Through SUN August 14 – This year’s County Fair is sure to provide you and your family endless entertainment and excitement. We have free grandstand entertainment and concerts for plenty of family fun.

RIVERVIEW SIX TO SUNSET CONCERT SERIES
Thursdays Through August 11th  Celebrate summer on Thursday evenings while listening to our fantastic bands play the sun down.

FARMER’S MARKET – DOWNTOWN
SAT-SUN (through October 30)  Vancouver’s Farmer’s Market. Over 250 vendors with fresh and local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods and much more at 6th & Ester in downtown Vancouver.

FARMERS MARKET – COLUMBIA TECH CENTER
Thursdays Through September 1st – Over 250 vendors with fresh and local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods and much more.

OPEN SATURDAYS AT PEARSON AIRBASE
EVERY SAT  Free educational experience, Flight Simulator lab, vertical wind tunnel, a glider-building station, historic airplanes on-site for viewing, collections on display, and educational programs to propel students of all ages.
