SAT JUNE 13 Celebrate summer solstice with games, traditional dancing, Scandinavian crafts, food, a beer garden, and a Maypole raising at Portland Scandinavian Midsummer Festival at Oaks Park.
BUDDHIST FESTIVAL
SAT JUNE 13 A bell rings 108 times to open the Portland Buddhist Festival, which has workshops, speakers, singing, dance, and kids’ area at Colonel Summers Park.

SAT-SUN JUNE 13-14 Portland Pride Festival and Parade are both the same weekend. The parade begins 11 a.m. Sunday at NW Park Ave. & W Burnside Street (map). The festival is both days at Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
BOURBAN & BACON FEST
SAT JUNE 13 Sip bourbon and taste bacon treats at the Bourbon and Bacon Fest at OMSI for age 21+.

SAT-SUN JUNE 13-14 Portland Rose Festival Rose Cup Race features modern and vintage sports-car racing on a two-mile road course. The weekend highlight is the annual Rose Cup, at Portland International Raceway.
