FAERIEWORLDS
FRI-SUN FaerieWorlds features renowned fantasy artists, grammy-award winning musicians, spectacular performances and entertainers, and an amazing arts and crafts vending village. North Plains, OR.

TORTUGA PIRATE FESTIVAL
FRI-MON – Set sail and take a side trip from your mundane life to experience a weekend of shenanigans, ships, fun, games and fire for grownups. 18 & over.

OREGON STATE FAIR
Through September 5 – Concerts, nightly laser light shows, animals, carnival rides and games, great entertainment, food and drink. Something fun for everyone!! 

DAHLIA FESTIVAL
SAT-MON – A must see festival for the dahlia lover, or if you just love flowers. View over 400 floral arrangements of dahlias, over 15,000 cut dahlia blooms on display, in our three indoor display rooms. This is the largest display put on by one grower anywhere in the United States!

ART IN THE PEARL
SAT-MON – Named one of the top 10 Arts & Craft festivals in the country. Filling the Northwest Portland Park blocks with art, theater, music, and hands-on activities for people of all ages.

TOUR DE LAB
SUN – Get ready to ride your bike with thousands of other dog-errific people for a whimsical day in support of Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital. Choose between a 15 or 40 mile course.

MOVIES IN THE PARK
SUN Sept. 4 & SAT Sept. 10 – Evening after evening, summer nights in Portland Parks offer families and friends the perfect backdrop to renew connections.

PORTLAND SPIRIT SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Fridays through Sept 30 – Start the weekend early with a one-of-a-kind summer concert cruise series featuring a different local band every week! Includes a two-hour cruise and live entertainment. Bistro style menu and beverages from our full service bars available for purchase on board.

TONY STARLIGHT SHOWROOM
Through Sept 16 – Portland’s premiere dinner and show venue and is the closest thing to a Vegas show in Portland. A truly memorable dinner and show experience, one that you will want to share with friends and family.

MOVIES IN THE PARK
Through September 10 – Pre-movie entertainment begins at 6:30 PM, including live performances by local musicians and free popcorn. Bring jackets or extra blankets, as it gets chilly when the sun goes down!

OREGON ZOO SUMMER CONCERTS
Through September 11  Oregon’s “wildest” outdoor concert series celebrates 37 years of bringing you world-class artists for a night of music and nature. It wouldn’t be summer in Oregon without an evening of great music at the zoo!

PORTLAND SATURDAY MARKET
SAT-SUN through December – The nation’s largest weekly open-air arts and crafts market. Stroll down row upon row of unique creations made by the people who sell them in Old Town.

URBAN SCAVENGER HUNT
ALL MONTH  Smartphone clues lead you on a fun & engaging walking tour of the city. Clues start you in the heart of downtown at Pioneer Courthouse Square and will take you on a scavenger hunt through the Arts District, on a streetcar ride and among the famous food carts.

SHANROCK’S TRIVIOLOGY
ALL MONTH – Various Portland Locations: Triviology pub quizzes are free to play, last a couple of hours, and are composed of seven short rounds, giving teams instant gratification for their efforts. Team size can range from one to five players, with prizes for everyone on the winning team.

VANCOUVER METRO EVENTS

FOOD & WINE PAIRING
SAT-MON – Visit local food artisans & pair their creations with the wines on offer at each local winery. Skip the lines and traffic and stay local for Labor Day.

FARMER’S MARKET – DOWNTOWN
SAT-SUN (through October 30)  Vancouver’s Farmer’s Market. Over 250 vendors with fresh and local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods and much more at 6th & Ester in downtown Vancouver.

FARMERS MARKET – COLUMBIA TECH CENTER
Thursdays Through September 1st – Over 250 vendors with fresh and local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods and much more.

OPEN SATURDAYS AT PEARSON AIRBASE
EVERY SAT  Free educational experience, Flight Simulator lab, vertical wind tunnel, a glider-building station, historic airplanes on-site for viewing, collections on display, and educational programs to propel students of all ages.
