SHREWSBURY RENAISSANCE FAIRE
SAT-SUN – An educational interactive adventure in history, welcoming families and children. Browse the village for unique handmade goods & enjoy 1,000 costumed players, jousting knights, minstrels, troubadours, jongleurs and dancers.
ROSE CITY COMIC CON
SAT-SUN – Fun & family friendly event for everyone. Attend panels, meet comic creators, enjoy access to gaming, sci-fi, cosplay, anime, fantasy and everything in between.
WINGS & WHEELS
SAT – This family friendly event will start off with a 16K run. Check out WWII vehicles, planes, car/truck and motorcycle show, lots of kids activities including a tricycle parade.
BELMONT STREET FAIR
SAT – Featuring live music, beer gardens, over 200 vendors with great food and shopping and kids area with bounce house.
TIGARD STREET FAIR
SAT – Street side vendors, downtown business specials, all day music, community and music stages, kids activities, food, fun and more.
AIDS WALK PORTLAND
SAT – Fun 2.4 mile walk for the whole family through Portland to raise awareness of, and funds for, the fight against HIV/AIDS.
DOWN THE RIVER CLEAN UP OF THE CLACKAMAS
SUN – The Down the River Clean Up is the largest and longest running on-water cleanup event of its kind in Oregon. Over 250 volunteers rally together in rafts, kayaks, and scuba gear, to scour the stream bed and banks for trash, over half of which is recycled.
TIME BASED ART FESTIVAL
Through September 18th – Contemporary art projects that bring artists and audiences together, creating a vibrant community through live performances, music, screenings, workshops, talks, and visual art installations.
MOVIES IN THE PARK
SAT Sept. 10 – Evening after evening, summer nights in Portland Parks offer families and friends the perfect backdrop to renew connections.
PORTLAND SPIRIT SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Fridays through Sept 30 – Start the weekend early with a one-of-a-kind summer concert cruise series featuring a different local band every week! Includes a two-hour cruise and live entertainment. Bistro style menu and beverages from our full service bars available for purchase on board.

OREGON ZOO SUMMER CONCERTS
Through SUN – Oregon’s “wildest” outdoor concert series celebrates 37 years of bringing you world-class artists for a night of music and nature. It wouldn’t be summer in Oregon without an evening of great music at the zoo!

SAT-SUN through December – The nation’s largest weekly open-air arts and crafts market. Stroll down row upon row of unique creations made by the people who sell them in Old Town.
URBAN SCAVENGER HUNT
ALL MONTH – Smartphone clues lead you on a fun & engaging walking tour of the city. Clues start you in the heart of downtown at Pioneer Courthouse Square and will take you on a scavenger hunt through the Arts District, on a streetcar ride and among the famous food carts.
ALL MONTH – Various Portland Locations: Triviology pub quizzes are free to play, last a couple of hours, and are composed of seven short rounds, giving teams instant gratification for their efforts. Team size can range from one to five players, with prizes for everyone on the winning team.

FLYAWAY WILDLIFE CARVING SHOW
SAT-SUN – The show focuses on hand carved, textured, and painted wood sculptures of birds, fish, and mammals in fifteen competitive divisions.
FARMER’S MARKET – DOWNTOWN
SAT-SUN (through October 30) – Vancouver’s Farmer’s Market. Over 250 vendors with fresh and local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods and much more at 6th & Ester in downtown Vancouver.
