LAVENDER FESTIVAL
SAT-SUN – The Clackamas County Lavender Festival in Oregon City has U-Pick lavender and provides education on sustainability in agriculture. Browse the showcase of local small craft businesses, enjoy lavender flavored sweets and treats, DIY projects, and more.

SUMMERFEST
FRI-SUN – Also known as the COHO SummerFest, this stage takes on four cutting-edge multidisciplinary artists with four shows and no boundaries.

OREGON CIDER WEEK
THROUGH SUN – Multiple tasting events and happy hours all around the city celebrate Oregon Cider Week. The Northwest Cider Association announces the 8th annual celebration with cidermakers, chefs and special events all across Oregon.

OMSI AFTER DARK: OCEANS
FRI-SAT – Head to OMSI for a kid-free night of science and learning, this week hosts Oceans.

INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
FRI-SUN – Oregon’s largest multicultural events the World Beat Festival hosts crafts, demos, performances, children’s activities, food vendors, and a beverage garden.

SHERWOOD WINE FESTIVAL
FRI-SUN Sherwood Wine Festival and Artisans fair hosts 18 participating wineries and breweries. Indulge in local food vendors paired to match the notes of our Willamette Valley wine.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK
THROUGH AUG 25 – Watch 17 different plays outdoors during the Original Practice Shakespeare Festival.

OREGON BACH FESTIVAL
THROUGH JULY 13 – Celebrate the legacy of classical music composer Johann Sebastian Bach with 35 performances and events.

INTO THE WOODS
SAT-SUN – The Broadway Rose Theatre hosts performances of the classic tale Into the Woods with familiar storybook figures and elaborate costumes.  

DINNERS IN THE FIELD
ONGOING – Get your ticket to dinners in the field this summer. Enjoy local produce and local Willamette Valley wines.

JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL
THROUGH SUN – The Portland Jewish Film Festival celebrates Jewish culture at the Portland Art Museum. Learn about the identity, diversity, and history that resonates in Jewish film.

OMSI EVENT
ONGOING – OMSI takes a behind the scenes glance at Pixar creations. Experience the science, technology, art, and concepts by Pixar artists for award-winning films.

HISTORIC CHINATOWN
ONGOING – Head to the Portland Chinatown Museum for a look beyond the gate. This exhibit uses rare objects and visuals to explain the history and old tales of Portland’s historic Chinatowns.

 

VANCOUVER METRO EVENTS 

HISTORIC OASIS
FRI – The English Estate Winery hosts a historic oasis in East Vancouver with live music performances and a coastal food truck. Enjoy the party with a pairing of the wine grown on the 116-year old farm.

RECYCLED ARTS FESTIVAL
SAT-SUN – This two-day Recycled Arts Festival is the largest recycled event in the Northwest with over 120 vendors and 75% recycled and repurposed materials.

TWILIGHT HALF MARATHON
FRI – This half marathon is a flat, easy run in the evening. Get a souvenir shirt, win a medal, enjoy a tamale dinner and craft beers with registry. This event supports the Children’s Cancer Association.

PAINT NIGHT
SAT – Take on a blank canvas at Heathen Brewing Feral Public House and enjoy small batches of Progressive Ales.

VANCOUVER FARMERS MARKET
ONGOING –  The Vancouver farmers market features local fresh produce and products.
