OBONFEST JAPANESE FESTIVAL

SAT AUG 1 Obonfest commemorates ancestors with Obon dance, lanterns, children’s booths, Japanese food, beer, and sake at Oregon Buddhist Temple. Free entry.

GEM & MINERAL FESTIVAL

SAND SCULPTURE CONTEST

FRI-SUN JULY 17-19 Fifteen teams begin carving giant sculptures from tons of sand at 10 a.m. Friday for Sand in the City at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Free.

ROBIN HOOD FESTIVAL
