SCANDINAVIAN FESTIVAL

SAT JUNE 13 Celebrate summer solstice with games, traditional dancing, Scandinavian crafts, food, a beer garden, and a Maypole raising at Portland Scandinavian Midsummer Festival at Oaks Park.

BUDDHIST FESTIVAL

SAT JUNE 13 A bell rings 108 times to open the Portland Buddhist Festival, which has workshops, speakers, singing, dance, and kids’ area at Colonel Summers Park.

FRUIT BEER FESTIVAL

FRI-SUN JUNE 12-14 Try 40 fantastically fruity beers and ciders from 25 breweries outdoors at Portland Fruit Beer Festival at E Burnside St. & NE 7th Ave. Friday by reservation only.

PORTLAND PRIDE FESTIVAL & PARADE

SAT-SUN JUNE 13-14 Portland Pride Festival and Parade are both the same weekend. The parade begins 11 a.m. Sunday at NW Park Ave. & W Burnside Street (map). The festival is both days at Tom McCall Waterfront Park.

BOURBAN & BACON FEST

SAT JUNE 13 Sip bourbon and taste bacon treats at the Bourbon and Bacon Fest at OMSI for age 21+.

SPORTS CAR RACES

SAT-SUN JUNE 13-14 Portland Rose Festival Rose Cup Race features modern and vintage sports-car racing on a two-mile road course. The weekend highlight is the annual Rose Cup, at Portland International Raceway.

MAME: A CLASSIC BROADWAY MUSICAL

FRI-SUN JUNE 12-14 (ends June 14) Mame is the story of a free-spirited bohemian who becomes guardian of her nephew, and together they create a life of adventure, hardship, and laughter, at Lakewood Center for the Arts. Discount tickets $19.
